Due to jump just after 1pm on Saturday afternoon at the Royal Randwick Racecourse is the $125,000 Group 3 Frank Packer Plate (2000m), which forms part of the illustrious Sydney Cup Day, the final day of the city’s Autumn Racing Carnival.

Al Dhafra defeated fellow starter for the 2010 Frank Packer Plate Euphemism in the Carbine Club Stakes, and the Peter Snowden-trained gelding is starting from barrier two with odds of $3.70.

The two geldings are the safest bets going into Saturday’s race, with the closest in the odds to them being the Randwick-based Dariana at $8.

Anthony Cummings has two starters in Landlocked and Lentini with odds of $10 and $11 respectively, with son Bart Cummings looking to Dariana to succeed.

Rounding out the odds for the race is She’smydarl, the Shamardal filly will see Nash Rawiller on top, and is going into the race with odds of $34.

Family Matters by Untouchable has been scratched from the 2010 Frank Packer Plate.

The fantastic racing card for Saturday at the Randwick Racecourse also sees the $400,000 Group 1 Sydney Cup (3200m), the Group 1 All Aged Stakes (1400m) and the Group 2 Emancipation Stakes (1600m).
